Our country was created for and by the people, but in recent times we have relinquished OUR rights, freedoms and liberties to our elected officials. They have taken care of themselves and with great disregard for those of us who are left holding the bag. They have spent our hard earned incomes into large deficits and unsustainable budgets. Why are we allowing them to steal our hard earned incomes and waste them on programs that do not benefit ALL Pennsylvanians? Why do we allow our elected officials to line their pockets with our incomes, in order to provide guaranteed benefits that are for the most part are out of reach for the common folk? Why do we allow our elected officials lie in bed with special interest groups, which influence them on how laws are written? One word describes it best, APATHY.
The time has come to have a sense of urgency and find a passion in regaining what is ours, before we end up like California, New York and New Jersey. We are on the path headed for collapse, unless “We The People” take charge of where we are headed.
There are many topics of discussion that take place on this site. Please feel free to join with us in constructive debate as we try to bring in the reigns on our elected officials.
